Charles Turek Robinson attended Columbia University and secured a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Providence College. His master's level study in anthropology and archeology was done at Harvard University. He has written four books, "Asleep Beneath the Meadows", "Native New England, the Long Journey", "True New England Mysteries: Ghosts, Crimes and Oddities", and "The New England Ghost Files". His articles have appeared in Yankee Magazine, the Providence Journal-Bulletin and various other publications regionally, nationally and internationally. "The New England Ghost Files", has created a media frenzy for Mr. Robinson. It attracted immediate attention, even to the astonishment of the author. It has been a Top 10 selling title for Walden Books and has been optioned by the Discovery Channel for possible production into a television series. Mr. Robinson has received coverage by news affiliates for ABC, NBC, CBS, the Fox Network, and National Public Radio. Although the book is temporarily out of print, it is between publishers and may be re-released sometime later this year.
